Description: Up for sale is a check from the Buffalo Tigers, a member of the short-lived American Football League. The check is made out to Tigers halfback Louis Tolliver. It is a GAME check for the November 2, 1941 game versus the Columbus Bulls. Tolliver played college football for Hardin-Simmons. He also played pro football for the Wilmington Clippers Tolliver endorsed the check on the reverse. Tigers' GM Fiore Cesare signed the check. This is only one of last four checks I have of Holstrom. Only six were ever found. Condition: One wallet fold. - slight bend to upper left area (no creases) hardly any other wear. Great condition! The autograph is a little light and has a few bank holes.
