Description: This is an interesting antique or vintage souvenir spoon from Egypt, hard-to-find. It is at least 800/1000 silver, marked as such, details below. The figural snake on its handle is possibly a reference to the snake that killed Queen Cleopatra. It is about 4-1/4" long. Maker's marks: an unknown date letter; a cat; a letter looking like a forward-leaning J. Weight: about 16.1 grams. Engraving: None. Condition: Very good with some very light surface wear, not too much, hand-cast, so it does show some minor tool marks.
