I do not know their exact age - they are used in the buildings that support Railroad Track circuits ……Signal and Position Lights, Crossings and Crossing Lights, Track Switching, etc. Many of the bars in these buildings date between the 1950s and 1960s so I believe these relays probably do also. They were still in use When they were removed last year. 2 white porcelain and 2 gray Rated 4.5 ohm / 15 watt These adjustable resisters are used in railroad track circuits to reduce the voltage to the 8-10v most bulbs in crossing and position lights require.)
