Description: This is a set of 4 bowls in the Pink Garland line by Caleca of Italy. This line was in production from 1993-2004, and is now discontinued; so they are just now becoming vintage as a total line. Two are serving bowl size, great for pasta or open vegetable dish, and two are individual pasta bowls. The serving bowls measure 10 1/4" across and are about 2 1/4" high off the table top. The individual bowls are just over 1 1/2" high and 8 1/2" across. I noted that the two smaller bowls have a more recent backstamp than the two serving bowls; they were probably made later in the production run time. I also noticed that one of the serving bowls has the pink band around the edge itself; the other one has it just inside the bowl down the edge somewhat. These are very heavy stoneware items, and I take great care with packing.
