4 mint postcards of Staunton River Battlefield Park, Virginia, re-enactment, etc

Description: Here we have four nicely done colour postcards of Staunton River Battlefield State Park in Randolph, Virginia. One pictures a re-enactment of the June 1864 battle, while one shows the rail bridge which was the reason for the engagement. Another shows the much modernized train station at the far end of the bridge and another pictures a butterfly and flowers. The cards are fine mint with a hint of corner wear here and there.The park is a fine place to visit, with an excellent walk across the rail bridge over the Staunton River, which is in Charlotte County. Next to the train station is an operating post office with a good variety of recent U.S. stamps.Four attractive battlefield park, Civil War, Charlotte County and Virginia cards. The postage costs on this item are higher than I would like and, after leaving them unchanged for several years, I have raised them slightly in line with the 2024 postage rates. I advise that items costing more than $40 be sent via tracked post and cannot be responsible for such items sent by ordinary post. British buyers will pay $2 postage.As I have some fixed-price lots, anyone who purchases one of my items might want to look at them before paying.Additional postage is free for subsequent purchases unless they are too big for my normal very low basic rates.
