The tire provides winter weather traction. The triple polymer compound and the ideal tread design enhance the tire's ice and snow grip in colder temperatures. These elements keep the tire pliable in freezing conditions, while the tread elements enhance the number of biting edges and snow-on-snow traction. Hydroplaning is avoided, thanks to the zigzag circumferential grooves in wet conditions. The tread pattern's surface contact improves controllability and maneuvering. The tread design manages to maintain its road contact at all times, upgrading steering responsiveness and driving stability. This leads to quick and precise steering responses to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against pressure throughout the drive. The tread pattern's shoulder blocks help increase cornering as well, by generating biting edges when maneuvering. The tread also generates biting edges when braking, significantly shortening their overall braking distance. The Hercules Avalanche RT helps to improve its comfort levels. Its close road contact absorbs the shock of driving, significantly decreasing road vibrations felt by the passengers.
