Description: 4 Small Vintage Japan Bisque Christmas Figurines One bid takes all four of these vintage MIJ Christmas themed pieces!Santa in red robe with pack of toys on his back, leaning over a sleeping child in bed. 3" long, 2-1/2" tall. Marked on the base, "Japan".Santa popping down the chimney of the "Snow" covered roof of a house. 1-5/8" x 1-7/8" x 2-1/2" tall. "Japan" on the bottom.The last two pieces are a pair of elves (dwarf or nisse/tomte if you prefer). The first is reclined on his side. 2-1/8" long, 1-3/4" tall. Impressed on the back "Japan"The second elf is kneeling with his mittened hands between his knees. "Japan" impressed on his pants. 2-1/4" tall, 1-1/4" wide. The two colorful elves form a duo that have been painted with cadmium paint. I tried to show this with UV light in the last photo, with only middling success (cadmium paint does not glow under UV but the whites show bright white, not purple, and the other colors "pop" differently. It fell out of favor due to the premixed powdered paint being toxic. The figurines are safe, however please don't chew the paint off ;) Condition: just as shown in the photos. No chips or cracks noticed but expected loss of paint in spots. Please note that due to lighting and computer screen variance actual color may vary, but I do my best to represent the colors accurately.
