Description: $4 (w ERROR) of 1776 W WEBB SIGNER of the BUSH RESOLUTION (FIRST DECLARATION of INDEPENDENCE). Little known fact that William Webb was one of 35 people gathered on March 22, 1775 to sign the Bush Resolution Declaring Independence - This was about a month before the battles of Lexington & Concord which were the (technical) start of the American Revolution. Also signed by Isaac Hazlehurst, a Philadelphia merchant with ships at his disposal who arranged for Government dispatches (initially a the request of Alexander Hamilton, and later from President Washington) mainly to Europe (France). This 1776 piece also shows a slight pre-print (ink drop-out) error represented by a line going into the tummy of the wild boar. .............................................................................................
