French Country garden countryside design. Delicately hand painted floral bouquet spray w ribbons, vines and botanicals with Gold trim, red edges, flowers with pinks, green, blue, yellow on a cream background. Flowers could be roses or peonies. Meito logo on back ‘Meito China, Made In Japan, Hand Painted’ Original antique. Our grandparents acquired these when they were sold originally, and have been in our family ever since. Rarely used, so still in excellent condition. Mint. No cracks, chip, or discoloration. (Pattern number V2161 also printed in red on the backs of the Dinner Plates only.) Made during the eras of Mid Century Modern Art Deco & Art Nouveau. Resembles Limoges and Haviland Rosalinde.
