Description: Neat needlepoint pillow cover, it is old, guessing 1940's by the color, it is hand made. The color is a dark brown that was almost maroon. Very pretty, much prettier than the photos show it.Approx size is 20" long x 13" wide.The back is a rust colored velvet, guessing it was put on in the late 70s or 80's. To use it, it will need the closure finished, most of 1 of the long sides is open.Of the 4 sides, 1 long side & 1 short side are machine stitched closed. The 3rd side, a short side, is hand stitched closed. The 4th side has a only a few inches closed & they are machine stitched, the rest of that side is open.Depending on how much you like sewing / needlework & how picky you are, this could be a big project or a small 1.
