Description: In the past I did a lot of research on prohibition and the 1920's . I picked these up to get a better sense of the prohibition movement leading up to making liquor illegal in the US. The paper was published in Chicago but had an outlet in Harvey and at the end of the year merged with a Harvey paper. There are 48 of the 50 issues- 47 and 48 are missing . Also included are the special subscription offer based on the merger. This covers Chicago national and international temperance and prohibition movements as well as issues like poverty that can be linked to drink. Any questions email me - post office closed on weekends - package sent insured (these are heavy) no international orders
