Light Weight Wood Cigarette Box or Trinket Box with Hinged Lid & Push Button Clasp. Hand Carved depicting Landscape Court scenes with a Scholars among Trees & Pagodas. Painted Tan inside & on the bottom to hide a crack repair on the bottom. The Hinges may be replaced. Exact age unknown, probably late 19th to early 20th century. 4.95" long x 3.6" wide x 1.9" tall. 4.15 ounces. Fair overall condition: With age splits, possibly replaced hinges, repaired base, repaired hinge area on the back. (see last 4 pictures). Please view my other items.
