Sensor Installation: The sensor is either press-fitted or secured with a locknut onto the outer ring of the wheel hub assembly. The linear wheel speed sensor is primarily secured with a locknut, while the ring wheel speed sensor utilizes a press-fit. The distance between the inner surface of the permanent magnet and the gear tooth: 0.5 ± 0.15mm (ensured primarily through control of the gear rings outer diameter, sensors inner diameter, and concentricity). Voltage Testing: Using a custom-made professional setup, the output voltage and waveform under certain rotating speeds are measured. For linear sensors, short circuit functionality is also tested.
