Finney is noted as a time-travel writer, but he actually spent a lot more time writing adventure stories of 1950's/60's suburban American men. In this first effort, the men are still in college, but still wandering toward adventure, namely, robbing a casino. Marvelous. The book would be later made into a Hollywood film, starring Kim Novak. The book comes complete with its first edition dust jacket with retail price obscured by the remnants of a price tag.Very nice boards (please see pics). Intact endpapers are uninscribed. Binding is very tight and square; text is very bright and crisp with some light foxing. 192 pages, approximately 8.25 x 5.5-inches.
