EMB. 1 Gold. 1 Glitter This is a nice selection of GREETINGS postcards sent for BEST WISHES and FRIENDSHIP, and that have BUTTERFLIES in the design. The postcards are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s. The postcards' design have such things as: FLOWERS, RURAL SCENES, FRIENDSHIP MESSAGES, etc. Four of these postcards are EMBOSSED and one has GOLD trim. There is one that has GLITTER written on the postcard. One of them is AIR BRUSHED with color, and this one is published by Illustrated Postal Card (Eagle logo), a well respected publisher of that era. These are good postcards to add to a collection because of their attractive nature, their good detail, and how pleasing they are to look at. They would appeal to collectors because of their nice designs, how they capture the artistic style used back in the early 1900s, and how they show a glimpse of life back then. Overall, a nice selection of Greetings postcards at a reasonable price. The postcards are UNPOSTED (4) and POSTED (1) with a cancel date of 1911. Some of these postcards would have been "Printed in Germany" during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915). They have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. Regarding condition, please note that we try to remove damaged postcards from our lots, and only sell those postcards that are worth having in a collection. However, because of their age, please expect some creases, cuts, stains, and edge wear on the postcards. We do not want you to be disappointed.
