Description: What a ragamuffin bunch, saved by an angel! Reminds me a bit of "A Midsummer Night's Dream. This collection is just one of many times I miss my late sister Betsy, from whose collection these come. She would have been able to give me the scoop on each of these figurines, the when, where, who, and maybe even why. Instead, I've been trapped by dozens of different descriptions and claims on the web, including Etsy, Pinterest, and eBay. For example, the Snowman is apparently from the wonderful Radko Shiny Brite collection, very vintage, and not contradictory that it was made in JAPAN (as noted on its bottom) in the 1950s. Yes? The three "emotive"-faced figurines are from the same universe of "chenille brush tree putz figurines" despite their differences. One sits on the famous pine cone, one is clad in foil, two sit on cardboard platforms, two have the pipe cleaner "rings" in their hoods, one has feet. The angel, as noted in condition above, may or may not be complete. Unlike the others, she is paper maché through and through. And someone on Etsy has attributed her to the Shiny Brite collection as well. What's a clueless old man to do? Hopefully to get these into much better hands for the holidays. Like yours! Thanks for reading!Rick
