Description: Here's a 6" x 4" folding, cardstock invitation to an event in La Jolla, California billed as "A Salute To Governor Ronald Reagan." It was held on May 27, 1976, just before the June 8 California Republican Primary when Reagan beat sitting GOP president, Gerald Ford in that state overwhelmingly, 65% to 35%. And the Republican National Convention was only a few weeks away in Kansas City, Missouri. That convention was just about the last one in our history when, going into it, no one really knew who was going to prevail since Reagan had given Ford a real run for his money for the nomination. This in nice condition but please enlarge our images to judge condition for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. Remember, this stuff's called ephemera, folks, because it was produced, used and then tossed. So we're just happy to have things like this for our collections in any condition. S & H on this will be $5.00 sent well-protected first class with tracking. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so look at our feedback and buy with confidence, and we'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases even though eBay says we won't. Just request a revised invoice from us before paying. 5993
