Description: 5 pieces of vintage Pennsylvania redware, sgraffito decorated with distelfink - a plate, 2 crescent shaped dishes, and a cup and saucer. The plate is approximately 9 inches diameter, the crescent dishes are just over 6 inches long, the saucer is approximately 5.5 inches diameter, and the cup is approximately 2 inches tall. These pieces date from the late 1940s and are signed Spayd. There are no chips, no cracks, no flea bites, just some typical crazing, and varying amounts of age discoloration, and there is a tiny kiln firing flaw on the saucer rim (it was made like this). I have more pieces by the same redware potter from the late 1940s listed separately and I discount combined shipping. Please see the photos for details.
