This valve is designed to help prevent the evaporator in the system from freezing up. IT HAS BEEN PROFESSIONALLY REBUILT BY THE PART GUY LLC IN TAMPA, FL. It has been completely dismantled, each piece was cleaned and replaced as needed and a new internal diaphragm was installed. Clean unstripped threads in valve body and where the vacuum actuator installs. Ready to install your spring & vacuum actuator, install on the car and use! THE VACUUM ACTUATOR THAT SCREWS INTO THE TOP OF THE VALVE IS NOT INCLUDED OR AVAILABLE FROM US. CORE - Depending on the condition (mainly no heavy internal corroding or stripped threads) of your original, your used core may have up to $50 core value. (shipped to us in Tampa, FL) TECH NOTE - It is imperative that your air-conditioning system be contaminant free prior to installation and use of this valve. Failure to insure that your system is contaminant free will almost guarantee to cause the piston to stick inside the valve, which will force the a/c evaporator to freeze up.
