This neat little unit can be used wherever you have a 6v, 12v, or 24v based electrical system. Perhaps your bike, car, camper or boat, golf buggy, or that battery you have to power the DC lighting in your shed can go flat on you without warning, or you would like some idea of how much juice you have left? This compact gadget will show you by means of six bright LEDs the voltage level of your battery. Simple fitment instructions are included with the device. A fitting kit comprising tie wrap and rear mounted adhesive pads and base is supplied to allow fitment to any flat or curved surface - fix to dashboard, wall, handlebars, any surface you can stick to or loop cable ties around. In single LED mode, the LED will ‘travel’ to the current battery status level. In multi-LED mode, all LEDs will light to the current battery status level. In flashing LED mode, a single LED will 'blink' approx once per second to indicate current level, drawing an absolute mimimal power from your battery.The red LED has multi-functional capability. Once the red LED illuminates, the battery is considered discharged. If further current is drawn, it may deep-discharge and reduce future battery life. User warning against further discharge is indicated by slow flashing, and critical level indicated by rapid flashing of the red LED.If the system has an 'overcharge' state, for example, a motorcycle alternator regulator has failed, allowing a high voltage to be supplied to the battery and electrical system, the red and green LEDs will flash together to warn of possible impending damage to your electrical system. The unit is simply programmed to the voltage and mode you need via the supplied comprehensive instructions. Ranges: Unit can be set according to below tables.
