( I have another matching, if you search my store for the word "insulating " it will appear if still available ~ This is an insulating curtain! Only the second I've ever found. This curtain would have been used on a bed most likely as a bed curtain and it has a thick cotton batting to keep the heat in!~ the fabric is a beauty, silk and wool damask ~ the backing is red cotton ~ the original rings are still intact at the top ~ MEASUREMENTS : This textile measures approximately 84 inches long by 45 inches wide at the bottom. The top, which is gathered a bit measures 37 inches wide ~~ CONDITION: This textile is in as found not freshly cleaned condition. This textile should be dry cleaned only ~ There are some little flaws with the backing, and there is a faded area on the backing too ~ but generally this textile is in fabulous condition for it's age and use! ~ light signs of time and use often inherent in these antique textiles ~ K shelf 21
