These are the 87-93 E7TE HO 302 heads. These heads have been reconditioned and rebuilt with upgraded valve train. Perfect replacement head for a fox engine that has bad gaskets and a weak worn out valve train. Basically did all the work here for you. On these heads we use the trickflow 2500100 valve spring upgrade kit because that kit is a drop in replacement upgrade for these specific heads. I use the same kit on my GT40 heads I sell in other auctions. I also run this spring kit on multiple fox bodys I race and they work very well. The spring kit will work very well on stock camshafts as well as many aftermarket camshafts up to around .550 gross lift. Along with the valve train we have 3 angled the valves and resurfaced them with seats. We mic the valves when we angle them to ensure none are bent in any form. The heads were also surfaced on the heads gasket side only so you can assure a clean and flat surface for the new gaskets. This is good maintenance at this age because most heads are warped in some degree from years of use. The amount of material that comes off the heads is very small so it wont mess up alignment of your intake gaskets. Look almost brand new as you can see. We have spent the time to go thru the heads thoroughly Cleaning them, inspecting them and replacing most of the parts on them. Or having it machined. Most all my heads came from perfectly good running motors. Im just refreshing them for longer life. These heads have the 1.78 intake valve with the 1.46 exhaust valve. Stock size valves. The rockers are all stock sized rockers. We did not replace those as most of them worked just fine. THIS IS A PEDASTAL MOUNT ROCKER HEADS SO BUYERS MAKE SURE YOU DO PROPER HOMEWORK IF YOUR INSTALLING THEM ON A NON-ROLLER BLOCK. IT WILL WORK BUT YOU MAY HAVE TO SHIM THE PEDASTALS TO ACHIEVE PROPER LASH. BUYERS RESPONSBILITY TO KNOW THAT. I have rebuilt heads and blocks for many years now. Attention to detail is the key.
