‘99 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Custom Florentine Semi Hollow Ebony (unplayed)

Description: I ordered 3 of these Les Paul Custom Semi-Hollow Florentine guitars from the Gibson custom shop in November of 1999 and only played 2 of them while this 3rd one was locked away new in the case sitting in a closet and forgotten about since it was received and inspected. According to Gibson, this is one of only 20 of these made in the ebony color with these specs from 1999. It has a custom vintage era 10" fret-board radius vs. the typical 12" radius found on these. The scale length is the classic 24.75" and it has a very comfortable medium C custom neck carve. The pickups are hand selected Gibson P.A.F. type. There's a tiny bit of patina on the gold hardware from sitting in the case untouched for the past 24 years and very minimal natural finish checking on the nitrocellulose finished maple top that you have to look very closely to see, but other than that the guitar is in near perfect closet classic condition. All that needed to be done when I found it was a very slight adjustment to the intonation, the neck and action were all still dialed in. All of the case candy and warranty cards are included in the case compartment. The strings are 10-46 tuned to standard tuning. Action is about 4/64" on the low E and about 3.5/64" on the high E at the 12th fret with a neck relief of about .010" at the 8th fret. It's an awesome specimen from one of Gibson's best eras in the Custom Shop. From what I've seen online, this is quite a rare piece to find these days in this color, especially in unplayed condition.
