The leather has pre-existing scars and wear. All leather books ship carefully packed in a box. This is a genuine antique book, literally a piece of history. If it were sentient, it could tell of over a hundred years full of lives it has touched and hands it has passed through. Every year, more of these irreplaceable treasures are lost-- to fires, floods, etc., or simple carelessness. It is my hope to rescue as many as possible and help them find homes where they will be cherished and passed on to future generations. Printing date is estimated at 1900 based on similar books; there is no date printed inside. A couple of small tears at page edges. Some pages are uncut, never read. No writing or odors.
