DESCRIPTION - Each book is bound in 3/4 leather, with gold letterin` on the spine, and raised bands....The tops of the pages are tipped in gold.......Each book measures 7 1/4 inches high, and 5 inches across front... .. CONDITION - The set is in used condition, with damage......The pages are overall good, with a previous owner's bookplate on the first endpaper, and with darkened edges.......And the pages have what I would call a fairly light old book scent.........The covers have wear and use, and some areas with color loss....And there are detached covers: front and back of Volume One, the Back of Volume Two, and the front of Volume Three - and the other hinges are weak, so the set must be handled with care .….And as the pictures show, the set looks real nice a-settin’ on the shelf, great for display.......This one is really rare, folks - mighty tuff to find.....Even with the damage, this is still a purty good ol' set.......I think you will be pleased with it....
