Author Biography Michael Jaquish has spent a very diverse life observing the human condition and pondering life from a spiritual perspective. Following a career as a peace officer in Washington State, Michael traveled to West Africa in 1989 and spent the next seven years running security operations for the US State Department, often in the midst of civil war and political unrest. Upon returning to the United States he began working as an international security consultant and conducting training for the private security industry. He now resides in the Pacific Northwest where he studies Buddhist philosophy as he follows the path of the Bodhisattva, meditates and writes of his contemplations on life and his personal experiences.
