Description: Offered is the vintage soft cover booklet "A Sense of Place: Survivors on the Land", written by E. Culpepper Clark and published by Troy State University Press in Troy, Alabama. The booklet delving into the history of rural Alabama in the years after the Civil War is part of a larger series. It has a 1978 copyright date and appears to be a first edition. This is a rare find; at the time of original listing I could not find any other copies for sale on eBay and only one elsewhere. The booklet is approx. 9" x 6" and contains 18 pages, numbered 39-56. It is in good to very good condition. The soft cover has one very short edge tear on the back but no tears on the front. It does have some slight discoloration. I see no missing or torn pages and all of the pages are well-attached to the cover. They have yellowed but are otherwise clean. The staples are rusty. I see no writing in the book. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions. I will do my best to answer them! Please take a moment to look at some of the other items in my eBay store!
