Description: This beautifully carved tiny salt spoon was found on Cape Cod. Judging by the design of the spoon, it follows the common silver shape popular from the late 18th century until about 1860. Likely carved from cow bone, it is very refined and delicate. It would make a lovely accoutrement to a pressed glass or coin silver master salts Excellent condition American, circa 1840 3” long .4” diameter of the bowl .1” high (bowl)
