Description: Warm greetings from Japan. Thank you very much for visiting our listing. This is a R. Matsuoka-made Aria Dreadnought "D80". Currently, the saddle is set low. There is fret buzz only on the 8th fret of the 4th string during regular tuning. There are no other issues with fret buzz, and it does not affect playing in lower positions. This guitar is meant for those who understand the current condition. The neck looks straight, and there is extra room for the truss rod adjustment on both sides. The fret buzz is likely due to neck twisting (warping). The binding features beautiful decoration. Includes a hard case. The body top is solid wood, while the sides and back appear to be veneer. No visible patches on the sides for preventing cracks. It seems that the wood grain of the rosewood on the sides and back does not match perfectly between the front and back. This is a precious vintage Japanese acoustic guitar made with rosewood. There is some noticeable deterioration on the body top. There may be a difference between two-piece and three-piece back models. There are no crack-stopping battens. Jacaranda has a very distinctive grain, so just from a visual inspection I can say it looks certainly plywood. The guitar stand is not included as it is for shooting purposes only.
