Ovation Balladeer 1111-4 MADE IN USA Judging from the serial, this is probably an early Ovation Balladeer made in 1977-1978. It has a spruce top, ebony fingerboard, and Schaller pegs with the logo, making it a luxurious piece that would be unthinkable today. There are some pick marks on the lower right side of the rosette, but the condition is so good it's hard to believe it's about 50 years old. (Please note that this is an acoustic guitar, not an electric acoustic guitar.) Neck: Mahogany Fingerboard: Ebony 21F Body: Spruce top *Deep bowl Scale: Approx. 635mm(25 inches) Nut width: Approx. 43mm(1.69 inches) Pegs: Schaller *with logo There are some marks and small marks due to aging. Everything in the pictures is included. There are no noticeable dents, cracks or bulges in the top, or loose bridges, and probably it is in good condition considering its age. The orange-ish body color in the pictures is closest to the real thing. There is a crack in the rosette that you can see if you look closely. We plan to ship the guitar in the original brown hard case, but the hard case has some aging, such as stickers (multiple), the artist's signature in marker, and corrosion of the metal parts. Please consider it as packaging material. When It was bought used and opened the case, I thought that the body (bowl) of the guitar itself had a smell due to aging, but since cleaning the guitar itself, the guitar itself does not have a smell, so it seems to be the smell inside the case due to being sealed for a long time. There has been no repair work such as a broken neck. There are no choking or chattering sounds. I think there is about 90% or more of the frets remaining. In my amateur opinion, the neck is straight and there is no warping. I haven't touched the truss rod because I don't have a box wrench that fits. The string height is about 2.6mm(0.10 inches) at 12F on the 6th string, and about 1.5mm(0.05 inches) at 12F on the 1st string. The nut and saddle have not been adjusted, so it is possible to lower the string height further. In preparation for listing, we cleaned the body, fingerboard, and fret polishing so that you can play it comfortably. The strings are brand new Elixir. The actual color of the product may differ slightly from the image due to lighting during photography and your monitor. Please inspect pictures for condition reference.
