Regarding distortion, out of the box, uninstalled, flexible and free standing, it has a "curve" and therefore shows distortion, but because it is acrylic and flexible, if you install it "flat" to a wall, distortion is minimal, buyer accepts, "as is", there is no implied warranty regarding distortion.
