It should also be used on any Jeep© JK Wrangler that has installed a CV style rear driveshaft. Our lower rear track bar relocation bracket is designed for lift heights from 2"-6" by using one of the three (3) adjustable mounting locations. Our adjustable lower rear track bar relocation bracket for the Jeep© JK Wrangler mounts to the rear axle housing's track bar mount, rear lower control arm mount and axle tube and is designed to be extremely rigid and durable. This is accomplished by anchoring the bracket in multiple locations to evenly and securely distribute the forces of the rear track bar. This design reinforces the factory mounting bracket that is prone to failure providing for dependable performance in any conditions. Our adjustable lower rear track bar relocation bracket greatly improves a lifted Jeep© JK's drivability by restoring the proper roll center of the vehicle which in turn reduces rear body roll. It raises the mounting point on the rear axle housing to reduce the operating angle of the rear track bar. It returns the mounting point on the axle to a neutral position, this eliminates binding problems that lead to premature bushing failure and helps keep the rear axle housing centered. By keeping the rear track bar closer to horizontal, the rear suspension behaves more predictably to road conditions and handling is vastly improved. Our adjustable lower rear track bar relocation bracket is compatible with virtually any suspension system, from 2"-6" of lift, and allows for easy adjustment changes as your vehicle modifications require. It is compatible with the factory or aftermarket rear track bars. The three (3) adjustable mounting points allow for proper horizontal geometry of the rear track bar and lateral centering of the rear end when lifted. If you are lifted, it is best to use this adjustable rear track bar relocation bracket in conjunction with an adjustable rear track bar such as our Part# JK-107. Another cool feature we designed into our adjustable lower rear track bar relocation bracket for the Jeep© JK Wrangler is the ability to mount it to a vehicle that does, or does not, have 1/4" thick rear control arm skid plates, shock relocation brackets, etc. installed over the factory rear lower control arm mounts. If your vehicle does not have any of these accessories slid over the factory rear control arm mounts then you simply use the supplied 1/4" thick spacer. If it does, then the spacer is not used, it's that simple! This provides for a headache-free and easy 100% bolt in installation no matter what accessories you have installed now, or may add on in the future. Manufactured from CNC laser cut high strength 1/4" steel plate, our adjustable lower rear track bar relocation bracket is precison formed on an 8 axis CNC press brake to ensure a perfect fit, proper geometry and an easy 100% bolt in installation. It is powder coated gloss black for optimum corrosion protection and a brilliant and durable finish. All required mounting hardware is included.
