Description: Adorable Vintage Little Painted Putz Wood CHRISTMAS Santa Display, BLUME JAPAN Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE CHRISTMAS DECORATION Adorable vintage miniature hand carved and painted wood display of a group of tiny Santa figures with gift laden sleigh and stylized tree - measures 5-3/4" long and 2" tall. Lightly accented with dark mica, one holds a lantern, another a large sack over his back - I think the first Santa may have held something in his hand which has gone missing. Marked BLUME JAPAN, decoration dates to the late 1940s or early 1950s. Condition is very nice with light usage/display wear and yellowing to the glue used to attach these little Santa to the base. Just as cute as can be, this little putz style decoration would be a charming addition to any holiday collection or display!
