Aechmea Chantinii cultivar 'Black' is one of the most beautiful of the Chantinii cultivars. With its deep undertones of black over green, contrasting with it's frosted banding, this plant has a huge **WOW** factor. This plant can grow to very large sizes, up to 30" tall and 18" wide. This Chantinii is often used in landscapes here in South Florida as it can be acclimatized into full sun locations. It also attaches well and looks its best mounted on decorative wood, in trees, or on rocks. The flowers are a spectacular pinkish orange with yellow tips, and last quite some time. Please see my photos. All plants have yet to produce a flower. You will be receiving one cutting or pup, which is about 1/3 the size of a mature plant. This auction is for a single plant, similar to the last 4 photos. Plants will grow to to around size seen in the rest of the photos. Plants will be shipped bare root or no root, without soil.
