AEROSMITH Rocks Cassette Tape FULLY TESTED classic hard rock back in the saddle

Description: Early-mid 80s pressing (with bar-code). Play graded. I have listened to this tape all the way thru and it sounds great. There is about 5 secs where it sounds slightly muddy because the previous owner didn't rewind tape and that section was left exposed. Pad is intact. Shell is in excellent condition. No fading, staining or rubbing. Cover art is in decent shape. One small stain spot near the bar code on the front cover and some other light handling wear. Original outer case has CBS embossed on textured black back. Even a brand new sealed cassette from 25-50 years ago will likely have some issues. Some may not be playable at all. The first few times I go to play a vintage tape I always fast forward and rewind it in it's entirety and clean the tape head after playing (sometimes after playing each side). These old tapes are bound to have some residue that will either cause the tape to stick to itself causing seizing, or accumulated grime will come off on the head and rollers and cause the sound quality of your deck to worsen very quickly. I know the people that make cassette head cleaners tell you to clean your head every 40 hours but that really only applies to brand new cassettes manufactured in the recent past, not 25 year old tapes.
