To find this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). You will use this to figure out how much product you need to apply. Depending on the disease you are treating, Affirm WDG Fungicide should be mixed at a rate between .88 ounces to 1 ounces of product per 1 gallon of water for most turf applications, and between .04 ounces to .08 ounces per gallon for ornamentals. Step 2: Fill your sprayer with half the required amount of water, then measure the correct amount of Affirm WDG Fungicide you will need. Add product into your sprayer, and agitate the mixture until the product is fully dispersed, then add the remaining amount of water. Close and shake once more to ensure an even distribution of product. Once the solution is fully mixed, you can add additional products like marking dyes or surfactants. Step 3: Apply the Affirm WDG Fungicide solution to the target areas as a fan-spray setting to ensure the foliage is evenly coated. Reapplication may be required to control severe cases of disease development and should be done within 14 days after initial treatment.
