"Butter" Brown (1907-1986) used this same headshot when running for constable in 1950, as seen in a handbill held at Howard University. He owned and operated the B&B Oasis from circa 1947 to the 1960s, and was later a successful bail bondsman. Not in OCLC. Very good.
