Description: AFTER FRANK FRAZETTA "SAVAGE PELLUCIDAR" This is a proper painting, of one of the iconic American Frank Frazetta comic art images (which now fetch millions!), not one of the many prints for sale otherwise. And it is a great size for all that gothic fantasy to look wonderfully striking on a wall! One of two concurrently listed of the same size. The other is "THE MOONMAID" Acrylic on canvas measuring a standard 24 x 18 inches (61 x 45.7 cm)Condition is excellent! A very effective thing, but I'm not sure who painted it. And although it's here in the UK, I don't think it's English. The stretchers are not English. So I'm presuming it's American as per the image. And it's not very recent. It wasn't painted this century. I would put it around the1980's or thereabouts, 1970's maybe. There are a good few decades of age visible in the old and rusty staples, in the slight grub of years and in the varnish that needs refreshment. And although I haven't revarnished it yet, I would before posting. And that will just give it that nice final touch.
