Description: Jon Chadwick has studied the art of Jesús Rafael Soto and created a Series of prints which closely resemble the original art work of his predecessor. Jesús Rafael Soto (1923-2005) was a Venezuelan artist known for his significant contributions to the Op Art and Kinetic Art movements. Born in Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela, Soto developed an early interest in art and went on to study at the Escuela de Artes Plásticas in Caracas. He later became the director of the same school from 1947 to 1950. Soto's artistic career took off when he moved to Paris in the 1950s, where he was exposed to the geometric abstraction movement that originated in Europe. He began experimenting with kinetic art, creating works that appeared to move or change as the viewer's perspective shifted. This led to the development of his signature style, which featured optical illusions and interactive sculptures known as "penetrables." Throughout his career, Soto's works gained international recognition and can now be found in prestigious museum collections around the world, Expected delivery 7 days. Numbered Limited Edition 1/5
