In original dust jacket. Partners in Crime is a short story collection first published by Dodd, Mead and Company in the US in 1929 and in the UK by William Collins, Sons on 16 September of the same year. This collection of detective short stories has a theme connecting the stories, as well, "a group of short detective stories within a detective novel." The book is in VERY GOOD vintage condition - spine lean and pull back of text block from back strip at crown. Front hinge cracked. Colorful, unfaded, clean boards. Cloth heavily rubbed at edges and turn-ins. Age-darkened pages. Partially erased former bookseller pencil writing and a bookstore stamp on FFEP. A few spots of foxing on the edges. The unclipped original dust jacket is in VG++ condition. No price listed on this diminutive version. Beautiful, colorful cover art with minimal rubbing. Light edge wear - a little to spine tips mostly. Only light dust soiling on white rear panel. Typical book offsetting along spine and folds on jacket blind side. Closed 1” tear on top of rear panel else NEAR FINE. Quite beautiful!
