Description: 8" by 12" color print Air California Lockheed L-188 Electra in 1968. This Electra was delivered new to Qantas in October 1959. It went to Air California on lease in late 1968 and went on to fly for a number of other airlines. It was converted to a freighter in 1976. Last operated by Atlantic Cargo it was retired in May 1998 and scrapped.****All prints are professionally scanned from slides unless noted otherwise, and printed on high quality FUJIFILM Lustre Finish Photo Paper. Imperfections, dirt, and dust from original image have been removed where possible, and color and fade correction made as needed. EBay image is a low resolution scan. Actual prints are sharper and have better color than eBay scans.
