Description: Albany, New York Civil War token, N.Y. 010-H 4a, R-8, with die numbers 28530/28580. The obverse shows merchant "D.L. Wing & Co", 318 Broadway, Albany, N.Y. The reverse shows a wreath, open at the top. Inside the wreath is "UNION FLOUR". The obverse has two very fine line scratches at the "318" in the address. What appears to be another mark from the "R" in "BROADWAY" to the "L" in "ALBANY, is a die break, and is raised above the surface of the field. Both sides are attractively toned, but also show flashes of untoned, original red around lettering, the wreath, and near the rims.
