She was born in Perth Amboy, NJ to parents Dora and Bernard Goldberger, with sister Lucille Glenn. Before moving to Kendall Park in the 70's, she resided in Manhattan with her beloved late husband, artist Albert Sway. Their love and devotion to one another shone brightly for over fifty years. In Manhattan, she worked as right-hand assistant to Dr. Walsh McDermott, Chairman of Dept. of Public Health at Cornell Medical College; she joined him in his move to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation inPrinceton.
