Description: CP540V2 Stereo-Linkable Mono Compressor The Alctron CP540V2 is an updated version of its predecessor, the CP540, which is modeled after the classic 2254 compressor. This new version adds a limiter section for even greater dynamic range taming, along with improved metering, a new improved transformer, updated power supply, and a new sleeker design. This one-channel audio compressor and limiter can be paired with a second unit via TRS link for stereo operation. Both the compressor and limiter circuits are completely independent and can be used concurrently or be individually bypassed via the LED-illuminated buttons. The chassis is made from high-quality steel to provide extra shielding against electromagnetic and RF interference, and the circuit uses high-quality components to ensure low distortion and clear sound quality for years to come.
