Description: AMAZING! turquoise green Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown frothy bubbles over turquoise green in light pink shell as middle layer with clear outside layer . Italian art glass bowl. Created in the "Pulegoso" technique. The piece has a decorative indent on the rim, and is very thick glass. There is a middle layer of light pink, Bubbles look golden-pearly . Attributed to designer Alfredo Barbini. This bowl has the characteristics of an Alfredo Barbini bowl, made in the 1960s. Examples can be seen in the 1961 Weil Ceramics & Glass Inc. catalog of Alfredo Barbini hand blown glass. Can be used as a display piece on any table. Use it as a catchall, or candy dish. Mid-century era. heavy 3.5lb glass.
