The recording quality will depend on the equipment and sofware used with this device, and the talent of the operator will help also. I believe this is better than the Zedi-10FX because I use effects in my recording sofware and the onboard effects are not as good as what I can add in post. I also have external effects for my guitars and mics that do not require any on board effects, this might be a better, and cheaper option for you as well.
