Description: Fender licensed Allparts model TRO-62 aged relic 60’s style Telecaster neck made in Japan. It is a medium C shaped profile with a standard 2 3/16" Fender sized heel width and a nut width of 1 5/8". The 7.25 degree neck is made of maple while the fretboard is a beautiful dark rosewood. It has 21 vintage tall sized frets (.079" x .053") and the truss rod adjustment is at the heel. The neck thickness measures .85" at the first fret and .96" at the twelfth fret. The inlay and side dot markers are white. The neck is coated in an aged clear nitrocellulose lacquer and finished off in a clear satin lacquer for a smooth and non sticky feel. It is hand aged to mimic a well played but well taken care of instrument with most of the wear being on the back of the neck to simulate the outer layer of finish being worn off from years of playing. The frets have been polished and the rosewood fretboard treated with lemon oil for protection. This particular veneer fretboard was introduced in mid 1962 changing from the slab style rosewood fretboards Fender used starting in 1959. The hand aged tuners are high quality Japanese made Gotoh SD91 inline vintage style and the string tree is a relic Fender butterfly with a metal spacer. Also included is an aged TUSQ nut which will provide a clear sharp tone with tons of sustain and will match the wear and patina of the instrument. The neck is brand new and has zero fret wear. It looks, feels, and plays amazing!! I am a big fan of guitar equipment made in Japan and this neck is no exception. The workmanship is second to none.
