Description: Almost Full Box 50s All Occasion 13 embellished Greeting Cards 13 Envelopes Here is a vintage 1950s - 1960s all occasion assortment of greeting cards box. The box and cards are unbranded. There are 13 cards and 13 envelopes inside. This box probably came with 15 cards originally.I have placed a ruler in some pictures for size reference. Lovely die cut cards, some with embellishments, cut-outs. Folder style cards. Most cards have embossed front designs (the baby safety pin and dog mailbox cards are not embossed). Each card also has a short greeting on the back. I show a sampling of the backs.- birthday card, padded pink satin pillow with greeting- birthday card, with cut out window, gold foil on the box of roses- birthday card, bluebird with fluffy pink feather trim- birthday card, mini flowers that spell out 'happy birthday', with real pink ribbon trim, unfolds- birthday card, garden arch and gate cutout, flowers- get well card, violets, mini card on the upper front corner, real blue ribbon bow- get well card, dog wearing "Mail" cap, in a mailbox, pop up inside- get well card, orchids- get well card, gold embossed foil basket with flowers- baby card, has real metal safety pin- thinking of you card, roses and flowers, real pink ribbon bow- anniversary card, padded blue satin pillow in a fan cut-out, real blue ribbon bow- sympathy card, flowers, real white ribbon bowMost of the cards are in near excellent condition, minor aging. The padded pillow birthday card has some warping. The padded fan pillow card has and glue tanning inside. There are 13 envelopes with age tanning, glue discoloration, spotting. The tanning is darkest on the envelope at the bottom of the box. The flaps are not stuck down.The original box has light wear and age discoloration, some little chips to the paper covering along the sides (probably bug damage). There is an "$0.85" price and "14 cards" handwritten on the box bottom (however there are only 13 cards in the box). No split corners. No musty or smoke odor.Store inventory number 10237.
