Description: ALVAREZ YAIRI CY-127CE Classical Flamenco Acoustic Electric Guitar 1991 An excellent Alvarez Yairi CY-127CE classical Acoustic/Electric guitar with cutaway!!! It has a beautiful solid Cedar top, shallow 3 1/4" depth classical body with cutaway, 19 fret ebony fretboard, Mahogany neck, Rosewood back and sides, multi-layer tortoise shell body binding, Gold tuners with perloid buttons, beautiful detailed wood mosaic Rosette, and it plays and sounds great with the Alvarez natural response preamp pickup system with volume and eq rotary pot controls! The condition is excellent(a 9 out of 10) with light signs of use and shows no fret wear, the guitar is really excellent all around with no problems except for a few light playing scratches and dings(See pics), there is one gash on the top and a slight hairline crack near it(See pics). The action at the 12th fret is 1/8", and the saddle heights from the bridge is 3/32". No lifting of the bridge and no separation at the neck joint. The nut width is 2 & 1/16". Serial#34876, made in Japan in 1991, includes the hard case. New list price was $1749 and the 2007 Orion blue Book lists the used value at $1220.
