Álvaro Almaguer is a Cuban visual artist, painter, and printmaker. He graduated in 1979 from the School of Fine Arts in the Cuban province of Holguín. He has held solo exhibitions in several galleries in Cuba and Europe, including the exhibition "Alvaro’s" at the Human Gallery in Canada and "Estado de Transe" at Artur Bual in Portugal. He always signs his works as "ALMER." He works and lives in the heart of Old Havana, where he has his studio and art gallery.
